For Jey Travel, that place is Isfahan—one of Iran’s most historic and culturally significant cities. For centuries, Isfahan has stood at the heart of the country, where art, architecture, culture, knowledge, and civilization have flourished. Throughout different eras, it also served as the capital of great Persian empires, playing a lasting role in shaping the identity of Iran.
The name Jey Travel is inspired by Jey, the ancient name of Isfahan during the pre-Islamic era. Today, the name still lives on as one of the city’s historic districts and remains an important part of Isfahan’s cultural heritage. For us, “Jey” is more than a historical name—it represents the roots, identity, and values upon which our company was founded.
Jey Travel is headquartered on Chaharbagh Abbasi, one of Iran’s most iconic historic boulevards and a landmark of Isfahan. For more than four centuries, this avenue has remained an integral part of the city’s culture, history, and daily life, continuing to be one of Iran’s most recognizable cultural and tourism destinations.
Isfahan is also the birthplace of Amin Adili, founder of Jey Travel, and the city where the company was established. Choosing the name “Jey” was therefore not simply a branding decision; it was a tribute to the city that inspired our vision and marked the beginning of our journey.
Today, Jey Travel is an Iran-based travel company specializing in authentic cultural tours, nature tours, adventure travel, and tailor-made travel experiences across Iran. Built on a deep understanding of the country’s history, cultural heritage, landscapes, traditions, and local way of life, we design journeys that go far beyond sightseeing. Our goal is to help travelers experience the real Iran through meaningful encounters with its people, culture, nature, and living heritage.
Our Philosophy of Travel

The story of Jey Travel has been shaped by years of travel, professional experience, and an enduring passion for Iran’s tourism, cultural heritage, and natural landscapes. It is a journey led by our founder, Amin Adili, whose personal and professional path has become the foundation of the company’s identity.

Meet the Founder
Some journeys do not begin with a single decision—they take shape over many years. Amin Adili’s passion for travel began in childhood, inspired by the stories his father, Hooshang Adili, shared about his journeys to different parts of the world. From an early age, travel became much more than moving from one destination to another; it became a way to understand the world, connect with people, and discover diverse cultures. Alongside this passion, Amin developed a deep interest in history, architecture, and the cultural heritage of Iran and the world. This led him to study Historic Building Conservation and Restoration at Iran’s Higher Education Center for Cultural Heritage. His academic background later evolved into a professional career in the conservation and restoration of historic monuments, earning him the highest national qualification as a Grade One Conservation and Restoration Contractor. Over the years, he has directed and participated in dozens of restoration projects at UNESCO World Heritage Sites and many other significant historical monuments across Iran. For Amin, however, travel and cultural heritage have always been inseparable.
Alongside his professional career, exploration remained an essential part of his life. His adventures have ranged from nature travel, desert expeditions, camping, and off-road journeys to sea kayaking, whitewater kayaking, rafting, mountaineering, caving, river expeditions, and other outdoor adventures. In 2010, these experiences culminated in an expedition to the Amazon River, where he completed a kayaking journey through one of the world’s most extraordinary natural environments. The story of this expedition was later presented by Amin in a TEDx talk. These experiences profoundly shaped his philosophy of travel. For him, travel is not simply about visiting famous landmarks—it is about discovering history, nature, architecture, wildlife, local cultures, traditions, and the everyday lives of people. Many of these experiences have also been documented through his professional photography.
In 2013, this lifelong passion became a full-time profession. After completing the required training and obtaining his International Tour Guide License, Amin began his professional career as an international tour leader—a journey that continues today with the same passion and dedication. Since then, Amin Adili has designed and led dozens of cultural tours, nature tours, adventure tours, and private journeys across Iran and on five continents. Having traveled to nearly 50 countries, he has gained extensive firsthand experience of different travel styles, cultures, tourism models, and local communities around the world—experience that today forms an important part of Jey Travel’s approach to designing authentic travel experiences in Iran. Since 2014, Amin has also been actively involved in tourism education. Over the years, he has trained many members of the new generation of Iranian tour guides and tourism professionals, sharing practical field experience alongside academic knowledge. In 2015, after designing and leading the first Iranian group expedition to the Amazon region with 32 travelers, he was recognized as Isfahan Province’s Outstanding Tour Guide. He received the same distinction again in 2021 and 2025 in recognition of his outstanding work in designing and leading domestic and international tours. At the same time, his professional activities expanded beyond guiding. He served first as Vice President and later as President of the Isfahan Tourist Guides Association, before being elected to the Board of Directors of the Iranian Federation of Professional Tourist Guide Associations, the country’s highest professional organization representing licensed tour guides. In 2020, Jey Travel received its first official tourism license from Iran’s Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts. This milestone brought together years of experience in travel, cultural heritage, nature, and tourism under one brand with a clear mission: introducing the authentic Iran to travelers from around the world through meaningful and professionally designed travel experiences. For Amin Adili, travel has never been simply about reaching a destination. It is a way of understanding the world more deeply, building connections between people, cultures, and places, and appreciating the beauty found in their differences. He believes that every meaningful experience becomes even more valuable when it can be shared with others.
Jey Travel was born from this belief.
